Roudebush VA Medical Center in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
This Task Order consisted of design and construction of a 3-story parking garage structure with a bid option for a 4th-story. The design also allowed for the addition of three stories to be added on at a later date. The 3-story structure was required to provide 475 parking spaces. The design included planning for a 4th story to provide 649 parking spaces. The task order included architectural site planning that included 226 surface lot parking spaces and entrance and exit roadways. 168 parking spaces were within secured parking lots controlled using existing relocated traffic access control equipment. The remaining 62 parking spaces were in unsecured parking lots on site. In addition to the parking garage structure the project included extensive site preparation to include demolition of site improvements, relocation of deep utilities, roadways, parking lots, landscaping and directional signage.
